Two sisters in the United States have filed a lawsuit against a funeral home for allegedly burying the wrong man in their father's grave.
According to the lawsuit, Stacy Holzman and Megan Zaner accused Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Service in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, of mistakenly burying another person in the clothes of their father, Clifford Zaner, who had died of heart failure at the age of 72.
The sisters had asked to see their father one last time, but noticed something was wrong when they saw the body.
After three weeks, the funeral home informed the family that there had been a mix-up, and a second funeral was held with the correct remains.
The family is seeking $60 million in damages.
