Andrew Tate, a UK-US citizen and former kickboxer, appeared in court in Romania with his brother and two Romanian women to challenge their house arrest.
They are accused of human trafficking and sexual exploitation through acts of violence and psychological coercion.
Tate, who has a large online presence, is also facing rape charges, according to a source close to the case.
He and his brother deny the allegations and claim the house arrest is unjustified.
The court is expected to rule on their case on June 23, and their trial date has not yet been set.
Tate has previously been removed from a UK reality TV show after a video surfaced of him attacking a woman, and he has since used social media to share divisive and sometimes violent views, gaining millions of followers.
