Berlusconi's Fortune Divided Among Family Members in Will

Silvio Berlusconi, the former Italian Prime Minister, has left a majority stake in his family's holding company, Fininvest, to his two eldest children, Marina and Pier Silvio.

They will jointly own 53% of the company, while the other five children from his second wife will receive 15.8%.

Berlusconi's decision to give Marina and Pier Silvio a majority stake was written into his will in 2006.

The two eldest children have held management roles in the family business since the early 1990s.

Marta Fascina, Berlusconi's partner at the time of his death, received €100 million, while his brother Paolo received the same amount.

The late prime minister's close aide, Marcello Dell'Utri, will receive €30 million.

It is not yet clear how Berlusconi's other valuable assets, including his numerous luxurious villas, will be passed on.

Berlusconi's will included a handwritten letter to his children, ending with the words "Thanks, so much love to all of you, your Dad."
